Maybe a Linkchecker and an addon that separates the stickies in the forums.

Link checkers are extremely useful. Good suggestion! Also, if there is a script that does that, would there be one that deleted dead links automatically? That would be awesome, and reduce the frustration of users.

I have used one before for the resource section of my old web site. The link checker does two things: 1) It will edit the Thread and post a message stating that it works and when it was checked. It can also be set to check every day, week, or month. I am pretty sure that it has a setting in it that checks all new posts for links.
The Sticky Separation add on basically puts a divider between stickies and non-sticky threads. It is actually quite useful to members to tell the difference. I would have to check, but I am pretty sure that I have both of these in my add on collection.

i have one on my site although its ipb but i believe there is a vb version that automatically moves topics with over a set amount of percentage of dead links in the topic to a specified forum automatically and leaves a message within the post a tthe bottom saying when they were checked last and which ones were foudn to be working
